Drawing with pencils is also rewarding. I have always been a doodler. On the phone, in a waiting room or while watching TV. I am the happiest when my pencil is doing a tango across the page and revealing something recognizable to me. Then I elaborate on what the subject may be feeling. Animals or children are my go-to drawing subjects. I try to capture momentarily revealed expressions.
