watercolor

Watercolor is my first love. I am entranced by the danger of this strange and mystical medium that can be so ethereal, and yet can be ruined in just a few careless strokes. To me watercolor sings; but hit a clunker note, and the song is over. I love the way the light dances on the paper. As if showing the viewer which way to go to best enjoy a painting.
